I am a postdoctoral researcher in Neuroscience. I hold a master's degree in cognitive psychology from the University of Oslo and completed my PhD in neuroscience at the University of Bern, Switzerland. My primary interest lies in understanding how conscious awareness alters sensory processing and how we form representations.

Research

Sleep and coma: Sensory processing when capacity for consciousness is lost or diminished.
Auditory processing: How processing of auditory stimuli manifest and is altered across states.
Hyperscanning: Neural correlates of the establishing of shared representations.
Scalp EEG: Used in my research with coma patients and for some cognitive experiments.
Intracranial EEG: Working with patients to understand basic mechanisms on a precise spatial scale.
